In New York, I Sit and Watch (Day One)

This bought of sitting and watching takes place at the Astor Place Starbucks. Actually, I'm not doing a lot of watching. I finally signed up for the program where you get two hours of wi-fi free daily at Starbucks, and I just answered all of my email and messages. And I caught up with my online classes. All is well, so far.

Today was the first day of the seminar, and it left a bit to be desired. Now, to be fair, my last seminar was the one in Puerto Rico, which I have called the best professional experience of my life. By the end of day one, my head had exploded, and I was putting it back together into something newer and better. Today was a traditional seminar, and we seemed a bit all over the place. I lost track of things a few times but learned from others that I wasn't the only one. We'll get on track, I'm sure.

More to say, but I want to pack up. I might see a movie in a bit. At the very least, it's freezing in this place. Last year, I remember melting in the heat. Today, I was almost sorry I wore shorts to the workshop, and I'm very sorry I'm in them now.

Brrrrr!!!!
